Paper

We’re using Dropbox Paper for the application process as we think it will allow you to easily put everything for your project into one place, while giving you as much creative freedom. It’s up to you how much detail you wish to include in the Dropbox Paper residency application. It could be as simple as just the files and links to the demos of your music, to any images or videos you’ve made. You may also choose to include a bio, or a background story of your project to date, a wishlist of people you would like to collaborate with, or a timeline of what you wish to accomplish for your project in the coming months.

In your Dropbox Paper residency application, you can embed your Spotify, Soundcloud, YouTube, etc. content, add original photos, and comment and tag the things you want to highlight for our team. Share the doc with friends and family and ask for feedback to ensure your application feels uniquely “you.” The idea is that this document tells your story as an artist!

We’ve asked a handful of artists that are part of the Future Classic extended family to create examples of what their Dropbox Paper residency application would like as an applicant, so you can get an idea of some different ways to approach this.

We’ve picked a handful of artists in the Future Classic family & beyond and asked them to create their artist pitch in Dropbox Paper as examples.
